The model for a statue of music icon Johnny Cash stands in the Little Rock living room of artist Kevin Kresse, with a bust of the younger Cash visible in the background. Kresse, a 1979 Catholic High School graduate, was chosen to create an 8-foot statue of Cash to be displayed permanently in the U.S. Capitol. Cash and Daisy Gaston Bates were chosen to represent Arkansas in the National Statuary Hall. (Arkansas Catholic photo by Aprille Hanson Spivey)
